Senate Bill 195 AN ACT

RELATING TO STATE GOVERNMENT; PRESCRIBING THE JURISDICTION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS MAINTENANCE, AND AMENDING SECTION 41-972, ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Section 41-972, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

41-972. JURISDICTION OF SUPERINTENDENT

The superintendent of public buildings maintenance shall be IS responsible for the ALLOCATION OF SPACE, OPERATION, maintenance, alteration and renovation of the existing STATE capitol buildings and grounds inch:1ding BUILDING, the house and senate wings thereto, the annex to the state capitol building kno1,mas the state office building, THEREOF, the state office building located in Tucson, and the space, which contains the following offices and ex tensions to offices: THE ADJACENT GROUNDS TO EACH, AND ALL OTHER BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS OWNED OR LEAS ED BY THE STATE AND LOCATED ADJACENT TO OR NEAR THOSE SPECIFIED BUILDINGS, EXCEPT FOR BUILDINGS OCCUPIED, OPERATED AND MAINTAINED BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. Board of pardons and paroles.

  1. ARIZONA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT.

  2. Library extension service.

  1. EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION.

  2. Department of civil defense.

  1. REGISTRAR OF CONTRACTORS.

  2. Superintendent of banks.

  1. ARIZONA POWER AUTHORITY.

  2. STATE COMPENSATION FUND.

  1. State veterinarian and meat inspection service;·

  2. Estate tax commissioner.

  3. Bureau of vital statistics.

  4. Industrial school home placement office.

  5. Merit system council.

  6. State sgg insp.ictor.

  7. Apprenticeship council:

  8. Barber board.

  9. State employees' credit union,

  10. Planning and building commission.

  11. Commission of Indian affairs.

  12. State parks board.

  13. Governor's council for on the job training.

  14. Division of oeational rehabilitation.

  15. Textbook division of department of public instruction.

  16. Labor department of stats industrial commission.

  17. Laboratory of state department of health.

  18. Department of public instruction.

  19. School lunch division of department of public instruction.

  20. Teacher certification division of state department of public instruction.
